We use state-of-the-art thermal imaging drones to accurately count mammal populations such as mountain hare, deer and feral goat.
The drone’s flight planning function means that transects can be repeated annually to detect rise or falls in population numbers.

Our Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) enabled drones compliment traditional protected species survey methodology to enable us to map the location of protected features, such as badger setts, otter holts and birds’ nests, and their associated exclusion zones to an accuracy of 1.0cm horizontally and 1.5cm vertically.
